Lockline Studio Ltd is a small independent software studio in England. We build apps that do one useful thing properly, keep your data on your own device, and don’t ask you to make an account to use them.
Wheelie tells you which bins to put out and when, for 133 UK councils and counting — roughly 40% of the country by population. Enter a postcode, pick your address, and get a reminder the night before, a home-screen widget and Siri support.
Collection dates are read live from your own council, so bank-holiday changes are already included. There are no accounts, no tracking and no servers of ours in the middle: your address and your reminders stay on your phone.
Three commitments, in the order we apply them:
A wrong answer is worse than no answer. Wheelie reads each council’s own published data rather than guessing. Where a council publishes only a weekday and not real dates, we say so plainly instead of calculating dates that would drift out of step with bank holidays.
Your data stays yours. No account, no login, no analytics that identify you. What the app knows about your home never leaves your phone.
We say what we can’t do. Some councils publish nothing an app can read. For those we tell you honestly rather than showing an empty screen or a confident guess.
